Since my teenage years, I have suffered with knee pain. After a handful of stretched ligaments and twisted knees, my doctors have told me that I should think about getting my knees orthoscoped. They have also informed me that the arthritis in my knees reminds them of what they normally expect to see in a much, much older person. My in-laws started taking a combination of Glucosamine and Chondroitin for their arthritis and had great success. After procrastinating until walking became extremely painful, I caved in and bought a huge supply. Glucosamine and Chondroitin do work, however, it took about 45 days of continuously taking them until I really felt a difference. It just takes time, do not give up on them if you don't feel better right away. I now take them daily and buy the largest bottles of them that I can find at my local grocery store whenever they are buy one, get one free. It is about a $20 a month investment for me, but my knees no longer hurt. They no longer pop and grind when I move them. Changes in the weather no longer cause me pain. It's great and I'm not going under the knife any time soon!
