Why You Should Always Eat Ginger With Sushi

Ginger is a natural anti-parasitic. It works incredibly well at killing parasitic worms such as the anisakis worm, which no one ever heard of until sushi and sashimi became commonplace in America. Since these parasites are carried in raw fish it kind of makes sense why so many sushi places serve pickled ginger with their raw dishes. If you like sushi and sashimi, eat the ginger after eating the raw fish. If you do not like ginger, do not eat sushi or sashimi. The ginger won't guarantee you that you will not get a parasite, but it will offer a good level of defense for you. Pass this info on to anyone you know who loves sushi, you may just save them from a nasty parasite!
