If you are suffering from constipation, eat apples. If you are suffering from diarrhea, eat apples. This seems very unlikely to work, but it does. Apples contain pectin which is an excellent stool softener, and they also act as an amphoteric, which helps stop you up when you have diarrhea. Next time you are suffering bowel discomfort, why not try apples. Apples can only help and will not leave you suffering from any adverse effects.
