Having recently suffered a bout of bronchitis, I felt encouraged to write about what worked for me. First off, The Chef And Doctor's Soup For Colds, which I have written about before, provided instant relief for many of my symptoms. I had a fever and chills and was experiencing extreme chest congestion and coughing. The soup provided relief for all of these symptoms and helped start me towards the road to recovery. (SIDE NOTE: We are working with Dr. Goodman, the creator of the soup to provide an international source for the soup through this site.) Second, make a tea out of honeysuckle and forsythia. These ingredients have been used for generations to cure bronchitis. Also, eat a lot of foods full of garlic. Garlic is both antibacterial and antiviral, and a diet with a lot of garlic in it will also help prevent a lot of colds and the flu.
